Sabai grass (scientific name Eulaliapsis binata, family Poaceae), is a tufted perennial grass found in abundance in the rocky landscape of Chotanagpur Plateau area of West Bengal, Odisha and Jharkhand.

In West Bengal, it is found in the districts of Paschim Medinipur, Bankura and Purulia. While the artists of Paschim Medinipur make utility items like bags, boxes, floor mats, hot pots, trays and water bottle holders etc, the artists of Bankura and Purulia specialize in making products like flower and fruit vases, animal figures, trays and dustbins.
